Pretty amazing that the garden was in such good shape after two weeks! I need to get some sort of irrigation system because I'm terrified of being away for more than four days in the summer :(
It really is such a game changer. I was lucky enough to inherit a very old irrigation system when we moved to this house two summers ago, and a friend helped me hi-jack one zone to run to drip lines in my raised beds. You could accomplish the same thing with soaker hoses and a timer! I can honestly say I don't think anything has impacted the quality of my garden as much as getting consistent water on a schedule.
